Glossy glazes are resistant to scratches.
Our matte ceramics are susceptible to temporary marks from metal residues left behind by cutlery after heavy use. This is due to the fact that matte glazes are less smooth than glossy ones, causing more friction on the surface. Additionally, lower-quality cutlery may not have enough hardness to withstand this friction. Surface marks can be easily removed with a gentle cleaner or a mixture of baking soda and water. Use a mild abrasive sponge and effortlessly scrub away the marks.
